An academic from 缅北强奸幼女, has been named a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences.
Professor Les Back, who is a Professor of Sociology, becomes one of around 1100 recognised Fellows working around the world.
He has a long connection with 缅北强奸幼女 having studied as both an undergraduate and postgraduate at the university during the 1980s.
He then joined the Department of Sociology in 1993, having previously taught at the University of Birmingham.

He said: "I rarely take stock or reflect on my own work because, like most researchers and writers, I am always thinking about what's ahead and driven by that sense that next time I will do better.
